Cover Teacher

Location: Brighton

Salary Range: £90-£165 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Job Type: Flexible

Reed Education are looking for dedicated and versatile Cover Teachers who are eager to inspire students across a range of subjects and educational levels. This role is perfect for those who value flexibility, desire to work in various teaching environments, and are keen to broaden their experience with different curriculums.

Cover Teacher Role:

  • Deliver lessons or activities prepared by the regular teacher or the school.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback to students and staff on the progress and outcomes of the lessons.
  • Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures.
  • Adapt to different school cultures and expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) or relevant teaching experience.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong subject knowledge and curriculum awareness.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude.
  • Professionalism and a reliable work ethic.
