Food Technology Teacher - Outstanding School in Birmingham
Start Date: September 2024

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our outstanding school in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and committed team, dedicated to providing an excellent standard of education for our students.

About the Role



As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Food Technology to students of different age groups. You will plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a diverse and engaging curriculum that caters to the abilities of all students.
  • Inspire a love of food and cooking and educate students about nutrition and food science.
  • Assess, track, and report on the students’ progress and development.
  • Participate in and organise school events and cooking competitions.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Home Economics or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching Food Technology is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
