Secondary English Teacher

Reed are working with secondary schools in Cheshire East looking for English Teachers who are committed to providing an inspiring and supportive environment for both students and staff.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to secondary students in alignment with the national curriculum.
• Encourage active participation, creativity, and analytical skills within the classroom.
• Provide personalized support to students, ensuring their growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design innovative teaching materials and strategies.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities related to literature and language (e.g., book clubs, writing workshops).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
