Our client is market leader in automation technology and has a permanent, full-time vacancy for a Scientific Product Specialist. You will be a key member of their respected and successful team of product specialists. The role is home based, but with a customer-facing field bias that’s designed to increase market share.

You will seek out, support and develop customers in conjunction with their field sales team and provide application and product knowledge during joint visits and project meetings. Products include chillers, heat exchangers, sensors, media separated valves, clean wet pumps and process gas controls. You will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities for the product, plus you may well get to be part of European working groups.

To be successful you’ll need proven knowledge of the types of applications found in the non-invasive life science/electronics industry, for example fluid and/or gas handling, analytical instruments for fluids and gases, as these are the types of markets you will be working in.

You will need to be comfortable presenting to customers and colleagues as you are liaising with them to solve problems from a technical perspective. In addition, you will need a valid passport and driving license as some UK and European travel will be involved.

You will need to have at least 5 years experience in a customer facing technical role.

Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application straight away. Should your skills and experience be a match for this role, or any other vacancy we may have, we will normally contact you within 72 hours of receiving your application. If you wish to apply for further roles please do so.
