Salary Grade: TCAT Support Staff Scale - Grade 5 SCP 8-14 (Actual Salary: £21,248 - £23,512)
Contract: Full Time (37 hrs/Term Time Only plus 5 Inset Days) / Permanent
Start Date: July 2024 Start

We seek to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Science Technician to join a strong department in a vibrant, high performing and over-subscribed 11-16 academy. The successful candidate will be required to undertake duties in support of the work of the teaching staff in the science department. This position is suited to an individual with drive, passion and commitment who may be keen for career advancement in the future.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Warrington
• Position - Science Technician
• Start date - July 2024
• Duration - Ongoing
• Contract type - Full Time
• Minimum rate of pay - £120 per day
• Hours - 8:15AM - 4:00PM Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant teaching qualification
• Previous experience working in a school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)
• Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
