This Cheshire School is a reputable and forward-thinking institution committed to academic excellence, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Science Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. This position is to start in September for the full academic year.

The Role: As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire students in the fascinating world of science. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive classroom environment, and helping students develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts. You will teach a range of age groups and abilities, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, and contribute to the school's commitment to promoting scientific literacy.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent.
  • A strong background in science, with a degree in a relevant subject.
  • Excellent knowledge of the science curriculum, particularly at the secondary level.
  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • A passion for science and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • The willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
