This Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school, located in Dudley, is currently seeking a Science Teacher for Key Stages 3 and 4 to join a dynamic team on a supply basis until the end of the academic year.

Contract: Until end of academic year
Rate: £155 - £215

Role Overview:
As a Science Teacher at our school, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. You will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate young minds, fostering a love for science and encouraging academic progress. This role is crucial in contributing to the continued success of our school and the achievement of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Science department.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and achievement.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of students.
