Science Teacher

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school located in Birmingham. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering a love for science among students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Teach Science to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering a range of topics and practical experiments.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in Science with the ability to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young minds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
