This Secondary School based in Redditch is looking for a Science Teacher as Maternity cover to join the Department. Your new job
As this is a long-term role starting in asap, you will be required to:

• Plan and prepare Science lessons for pupils in KS3 and KS4 (potentially KS5 dependent on experience)
• Complete the marking and assessment of pupils' work, along with being involved with facility and department meetings
• You will deliver these lessons in a positive learning environment, ensuring all pupils are progressing consistently and achieving target grades.
• Have a focus on keeping high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must:

• Possess Qualified Teacher Status or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status
• Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school. ECT's with Science placement experience will be considered.
• You will possess excellent behaviour management skills.
• You will be keen to work as part of a team, share ideas and good practice.
• You will be available to start in February and continue on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year.
