Secondary Science Teacher

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join our dynamic team starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering engaging science lessons to students in Years 7-11, adhering to the national curriculum guidelines.

Day to Day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons that encourage active learning and student engagement.

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to individual and small group needs, adapting the curriculum to maximize student learning.

• Evaluate student progress with regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.

• Uphold discipline by implementing the school’s rules and disciplinary systems effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field.

• Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

• Demonstrated experience as a Science Teacher at the secondary level.

• Strong command of the current national curriculum for science.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
