Science Teacher Required for Portsmouth School

Academics are seeking a Science Specialist for a full-time contract in a Portsmouth secondary school, starting in April 2024, The school can wait until September 2024 to appoint.

You will be required to teach Science up to KS4 so suitable for a Science Specialist or someone who has a good subject knowledge and has recent experience of teaching Science to GCSE level. You would be required to carry out the role of a permanent member of staff to include planning, prepping, marking and attending meetings.

You MUST:

  • Be a UK Trained teacher or possess QTS, This is only available to FQT.
  • Have recent secondary teaching experience in the UK.
  • Be able to teach Science up to KS4
  • Have good differentiation skills
  • Be able to show good behaviour management skills.
  • Be available full-time from September 2016
  • Ideally be Hampshire, Portsmouth based or happy to travel for work.
  • Be friendly and open to new challenges.
