Job Vacancy: School HR Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of HR administration within the school, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
  • Managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and school policies.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the school's objectives.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff on HR-related matters, including performance management and disciplinary procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and systems, ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance.
  • Contributing to the creation and review of HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR administration, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff at all levels.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR-related certification is desirable.

Location: The role is based in Cranbrook, Kent
