Are you passionate about creating a safe and conducive environment for learning? CloudStone Education are recruiting for a proactive and dedicated Facilities Management Assistant to join a school that we are recruiting for based in Southwark. As a crucial member of staff, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the functionality and appearance of the school facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing equipment, painting, and fixing minor electrical or plumbing issues
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
  • Assist with setting up and organising spaces for school events, meetings, and activities
  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other facility-related materials
  • Collaborate with school administrators to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in facilities management or a related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures is a plus
