School Cleaner Required in Portsmouth, Southsea

Hours:  6am till 8am (hours may vary)

Days:  Monday to Friday

We are looking for a friendly and experienced school cleaner to work in one of our fantastic academies. Previous cleaning experience, ideally in an educational setting is desirable.

By joining the The Supply Register staff bank you will receive regular updates from dedicated Partnership Executives about immediate requirements (daily, short term and long-term supply) as well of any upcoming positions within the trust on either a permanent or fixed term basis. 

Temp to Perm may become available for the right candidate. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Deep cleaning toilet facilities
  • Sweeping floors
  • Mopping floors
  • Vacuuming carpeted areas
  • Emptying bins
  • Damp-dust surfaces
  • Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, etc.).
  • Clean and washing of windows and glass internally, ensuring they are smear free and dried properly.
  • Wipe down desks and chairs, making sure stubborn smears are removed.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required

Requirements:

  • Must have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
  • Must be able to provide two professional references which covers the last 24 months of work/study periods
  • Previous experience in a school environment is essential
