Rayment Recruitment is currently representing a private school on the outskirts of Ipswich, and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join their team.

This highly regarded private school in Ipswich has a fantastic reputation for the high standards they insist on in all departments. This also includes the kitchen where the chefs work to strict guidelines, using fresh local produce, to ensure all pupils and staff are well fed to restaurant standards. They average around 1000 meals a day; the school operates a traditional British fresh food menu.

This Chef de Partie role will enable the successful candidate to see an alternative view of high-end catering whilst at the same time allowing for a great work/life balance. They are looking for a Chef who can handle the busy environment of their kitchen, the ideal candidate will be hard working, passionate and confident in all sections of the kitchen. You will be looking to progress in a reputable establishment such as this one.

The successful CDP will have a minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent, you will be happy to run and maintain your own section, to listen and take orders but also have the ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team.

Shifts vary over a 2-week period.

Week 1

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 06.00-15.00 (2 X 30 min break)
Monday, Saturday, Sunday off

Week 2

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 11.00-19.00 (2 X 30 min break)
Saturday, 6-19.00 (3 x 30 min break)
Sunday, 8.30-18.00 (2 X 30 min break)
Monday off
