We're seeking a dedicated Office Assistant to become the welcoming face of a primary school, based in Wolverhampton to manage essential administrative tasks. This exciting opportunity offers competitive pay ranging from £80 to £90 per day, starting in September 2024.

As a School Office Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school's administrative functions. From managing the reception area to handling paperwork and correspondence, you'll be at the forefront of the school's daily activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet visitors and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for student records, staff documents, and other administrative materials.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events as needed.
  • Support teachers, staff, and parents with administrative requests and inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a school administrative role is preferred, but not required. Alternatively, a degree in a related field will be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the school community.
