We have an opportunity for a Scheme Officer to join ourteam in Oxfordshire covering our Housing for Older People Schemes.

You'll manage your own diary and be able to work flexibly, this could be from home, the Sovereign office in Newbury or the onsite scheme offices.

This is a part time permanent role where you will be working 19 hours a week.

The starting salary will be £11,856 - £13,351 (£23,088 - £26,000 full time equivalent)depending on experience.

The role

As a Scheme Officer you will be part of a small team ensuring that our Housing for Older People Schemes are safe, compliant and an enjoyable place for our customers to live. You'll take a proactive approach to health and safety, managing a programme of routine checks on the buildings and raising orders for works withour Property Services team.

You will work directly withour customers to ensure they have successful tenancies, answering and managing customer queries including signposting them to the wider team or external agencies. You'll be responsible for maintaining high quality notes and data in our customer and careline systems, managing a small caseload to achieve this.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of working in a housing environment
  • An understanding of the importance of building safety and compliance
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Strong administration and time management skills
  • Experience of using computer systems, for example Microsoft Office
  • The ability to establish, develop and maintain effective workingrelationshipswith work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.

A DBS check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
