We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a number of Repairs Schedulers on behalf of a north-west social housing provider on an ongoing, temporary basis. This position offers hybrid working (2/3 office days per week) but will initially be required full-time in office for training. Working hours are 8am to 5pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop job plans, define parts & materials, define skills, and develop an effective & efficient work control plan.
  • Day to day planning of all resources and work streams in a designated geographical area.
  • Communicating between customers and clients in relation to scheduled or appointed ongoing work.
  • Work in partnership with suppliers & stores to manage van stock usage and materials to ensure the most effective routes for operatives are planned.
  • Verify all material, information, tools and labour are available prior to scheduling.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous scheduling/planning experience within a dynamic workforce environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a busy & reactive workload.
  • Able to demonstrate reliability and initiative, working as part of a team and on your own.
  • Proficient IT knowledge and understanding.
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities whilst under pressure.
  • The ability to commute to head office (Warrington) for a minimum of 3 weeks whilst inital training is taking place.

What you'll get in return

  • Hourly rates between £16.15 - £18.94 per hour
  • Option to be paid via PAYE or Umbrella
