Are you passionate about Travel, Adventure and the Great Outdoors? Do you have experience in customer service, operations and administration experience? Customer Support Consultant required for this Glasgow based specialist Tour Operator - hybrid working after training. There ethos is to connect people and make a positive impact on the planet through adventure travel. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Communicate with customers via phone calls, live chats and emails.
  • Support customers with general pre, during and post trip questions
  • Answer customer questions on a broad range of trips and destinations
  • Engage with customers and communicate the brand
  • Utilise company resources to answer customer questions and problem solve.
  • Process customer payments and collect overdue payments.
  • Collect and updates contact, travel details, interests and pre-trip information including risk release forms from customers if necessary.
  • Engage with suppliers to finalise arrangements for bookings.
  • Process and check confirmations from suppliers and send documentation to the customer.
  • Complete general administrative tasks across our booking platform and communication systems.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

If you have good experience in customer service and admin, consider yourself a friendly communicator with a real zest for Travel & Adventure this could be just what you're looking for! You will have a good computer skills and be confident to learn new systems. THE PACKAGE:

Starting salary of £23400 pa and we are open to part and full-time applicants. Primarily Mon-Fri office hours, but with one late shift per week 12.30-21.00, and flexibility to cover some weekends on a rota. Plenty of additional benefits: annual leave allowance of 33 days (including 8 public holidays), which increases to 35 days after 5 years' service, plus an extra day off on your birthday!
