Are you an experienced Sales Support Administrator, who is looking to work in a fast-paced, global, market-leading company?

Here at Innovative Technology, we have an excellent opportunity for a temporary Sales Support Administrator to join our talented team in our global head office in Manchester. 

Our Opportunity

You will contribute to delivering effective and efficient operations of the UK Sales Support and assist ITL Americas Sales Support departments, through providing excellent customer service in a timely manner.

Your Role

  • Answering and responding to all customer enquiries via phone, email and the webshop.
  • Using a variety of systems to provide administration support for the sales order lifecycle.
  • Supporting and updating the wider Sales Support teams overseas.
  • Acting as second-line support for US office, covering for the Sales Support
  • Drafting and checking export paperwork, including EAD’s, ATR’s and Certificates of Origin and on occasion, creating manual paperwork for shipments to our oversea manufacturers.
  • Keeping the shipment log up to date with accurate information to act as a proof of export for VAT records.
  • Chasing delayed shipments with Production (both UK and China), liaising with the customers and UPS / DHL regarding such issues and responding to any other freight-related queries and issues.
  • Updating contract pricing in Syspro upon instruction from Financial Accountant.
  • Drafting and updating department SOP’s, uploading centrally to the BMS.
  • Taking and directing calls to other departments/colleagues alongside the admin team to cover breaks and busy periods or staff absences.
  • 24hr first response to all inbound requests including email, quick to react to information or requests and meeting tight deadlines. 

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an administrative role, self-motivated and be eager to learn.  Having previous experience of using Syspro would be advantageous, although not essential as full training will be provided.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum one year of experience in a comparable Sales Support position.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
  • Customer service skills to respond calmly and communicate effectively.
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability and willingness to continually learn new products and processes quickly.
  • Well organised, good task management with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
