A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Representative to join a Wholesaler Company based in North London. This role will be reporting to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for developing and generating revenue by selling fabric to potential and existing customers. This is a crucial role in which the Sales Rep will also find new leads, build relationships, close deals to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

The Ideal candidate for this role will be someone with excellent communication skills and sales acumen. This person should have good negotiating skills and previous experience working in sales.

This position will be Mon-Fri onsite and may involve occasional travelling, therefore this candidate must be able to drive and have access to a car. This person must also work one Sunday a month 8.30am-3pm.

Key Duties:

  • Work alongside and collaborate with the customer and marketing team to align sales effort and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Facilitate head of sales to achieve the department targets
  • Attend and participate in meetings regularly
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, interactions and outcomes on internal inventory system
  • Create sales reports, forecasts and performance metrics
  • Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for constant improvements
  • Identify potential customers through research, cold calling, networking events
  • Research leads to determine their needs, budget, timeline process
  • Develop and maintain prospects to ensure steady income of opportunities
  • Sales demonstrations, use visual aids to enhance meetings, maintain resources organised
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects
  • Negotiate terms and prices with customers maximise revenue and profitability
  • Close deals in a timely manner whilst ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Onsite visit - travel to potential and existing customers
  • Be primary contact for assigned customer and manage support and regular communication
  • Monitor customer performance across business and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Resolve customer issues, enquiries and escalations professionally
  • Liaise closely with internal teams to align sales effort and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Provide insights and feedback to the marketing, purchasing & customers success departments to inform strategic decisions initiatives

Skills:

  • At least 1 year relevant sales experience
  • Ability to drive and have access to a car
  • MS Office including Excel & Word
  • Excellent negotiating skills and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and pro-active skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Able to work under pressure and in a team
