Your future employer is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative to join their well-established and growing business in the agricultural industry. A very generous package is on offer, including a salary of up to £35,000, a company vehicle, 31 days holiday (including BH), a highly competitive pension scheme, and continuous training and development.

The ideal candidate will come from a B2B background, with experience handling and managing accounts, maximising opportunities for sales and growth. The position will consist of travelling to a variety of golf clubs, sports clubs, and other grounds care facilities. This is a Monday to Friday only position, with the exception of the occasional Saturday morning during the peak season.

Duties of the Sales Representative:

  • Managing customer accounts and building rapport with clients
  • Demonstrating the use of equipment, and explaining how it works
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients
  • Developing accounts and identifying new opportunities
  • Tender work and quotations
  • Liaising with manufacturers directly to order equipment
  • Dealing with a variety of customers and businesses, from independent facilities, to corporate accounts

Required experience of the Sales Representative:

  • Previous B2B experience in a field based role
  • Experience using equipment in the ground care industry is desired
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport
  • An understanding of finance in the sales process
  • A full UK drivers licence
