Sales & Operations Planner - Epping

The Role:

As the lead Sales and Operations Planner, you will be pivotal in guiding and leading the understanding of how activities impact the S&OP process. You'll forecast sales based on a hybrid mix of historical quantitative information and qualitative feedback on sales and marketing activities, both internally and from customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continually develop statistical models to optimize the performance of forecasting software Reflex.
  • Review and analyze forecast demand versus actual demand, setting events to adjust for historical fluctuations and manual history to offset stock outs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure future promotions, visible impact orders, and new product forecasts are included in aggregate demand.
  • Notify demand planners of significant forecasts or capacity changes promptly.
  • Assist sales in resolving short-term key supply challenges by allocating stock across relevant sales channels.
  • Share monthly 18 months' forecasts.
  • Facilitate monthly demand forecast aggregation, ensuring consensus between functions and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning and S&OP processes.
  • Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics.

Skills Required:

  • Understanding Excel, SAP (or similar ERP software), Reflex Business Planning (or similar Forecasting Software)
  • Strong intellectual curiosity
  • Strategic and tactical thinking

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics beneficial
  • CIPS or APICS certification beneficial
  • Experience in Supply Chain (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning in an environment of both manufactured and sourced finished goods) 
  • Execution of S&OP-related processes
