Salary: £24k - £26k P/A + Commission
Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri - Saturdays (1 in 4)
Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Holidays: 20 days
Permanent role

Are you looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious and professional company based in Huddersfield who have been operating for over 45 years. Our client is one of the top estate businesses in the area - They are looking for a Sales Negotiator to join their team on a Full-time basis, and this would be an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to further their career and obtain the opportunity to learn new processes and practices.

The Sales Negotiator will work within the front of house and provide a professional and efficient service to all customers both face to face and by phone. Ensuring all residential properties are handled proficiently from initial enquiry through to satisfactory conclusion.

This role is all about learning from the start and we want to train you to be amongst the best in the business!

Your core responsibilities

  • Delivering fantastic customer service
  • Registering buyers
  • Arranging viewings
  • Dealing with offers
  • Progressing sales and building relationships with vendors - you will be a point of contact for advising them on the best way to achieve a sale.

Importantly they will also teach you the legal side of things so you can be safe in the knowledge you are offering, giving great advice to vendors and purchasers alike. One thing we can really say is no two days are ever the same.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Daily team meetings.
  • Setting out your priorities for the day and your business goals.

You will have time to observe senior members of the team, and whilst you will report into the Branch Manager, there will be plenty of people around you to help and advise in all situations.

They like nothing more than success within the team, so this is a work hard role, which has a real opportunity for career progression. Once you have grasped the basics and got some experience under your belt, development plans will be in place for you to reach the next level. How quickly that happens is up to you!

Key Requirements of the Sales Negotiator

The successful candidate will have sales experience but have great personality, presentation, and a hunger to succeed is crucial to this exciting role as is the ability to provide outstanding customer service.

  • Previous experience working within sales.
  • Positive, enthusiastic and proactive with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office efficiently and effectively including Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy working with people.
  • Resourceful and able to work on own initiative and within a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods.
  • Focused on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest professional standards at all times.
  • Great work ethic, punctual and reliable.
