Description

Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Manager include, but are not limited to;

  • Lead a team of 5 including Sales Advisors and Customer Service and Sales Support
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth within the food, health & wellbeing sectors
  • Identify and target new business opportunities, including manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers, to expand our market presence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, providing coaching and support as needed
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market trends
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Utilise CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate insightful reports for management

Profile

The successful candidate for the role of Sales Manager will possess;

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the food or health & wellbeing industry, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and motivational approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant computer applications
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable

Job Offer
