Sales Manager

The Opportunity:
As a seasoned Business Development Manager or Sales Representative, you will take full responsibility for the business development and relationship management of industrial and manufacturing clients within a variety of industries.  If you have any experience of selling fabric or materials that would be ideal, but it is more essential that you can grow sales from both existing and new customers throughout the South West.  This is a B2B role, dealing with a range of sizes of businesses and one which requires a sales focussed, yet approachable and communicative individual who really enjoys building relationships.  You'll be a natural sales person with an aptitude to build business.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain productive relationships within an assigned customer base, predominantly businesses in the South West of England.
  • Manage the business performance of all assigned accounts including negotiations, adherence to supply agreements and dispute resolution as appropriate.
  • Develop and grow existing accounts to achieve budgeted sales revenue and profit.
  • Identify, target and convert new productive business and win accounts.
  • Implement account development planning by mapping individual accounts to maximise full business potential.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Production teams when developing new customers or products ensuring that the correct information is communicated, in a timely fashion, internally and externally during the project phase.
Preferred Skills:
  • You will offer a proven and well documented sales history within the a business to business environment, ideally working within manufacturing.
  • Any experience of selling fabrics, technical fibres, foam based products or similar would be highly advantages.
  • You will be self motivated and able to manage your own diary and travel plans to see customers on a national basis.
  • Sales/business experience in selling products  into manufacturing customers would be a distinct advantage.
