Sales Ledger Clerk
  • Hourly Rate: Up to £15.31 (dependent on experience)
  • Location: Ramsgate
  • Job Type: Temporary
  • Availability: Immediate

We are looking for a motivated Sales Ledger Clerk to join a growing company based in Ramsgate on a temporary basis with the potential for it to go permanent. This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available and eager to contribute to the success of our finance team.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Maintain and update sales ledgers and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Process and allocate incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and queries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Work closely with the sales team to implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Ledger Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Immediate availability to start the position.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and sales ledger processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
