A UK and Foreign Sales Executive with at least 1 year of experience is needed to join the team at this leading provider of economic data based in Horsham on a full-time basis. This is an entry level job.

Since 1994, this company has been helping the global financial community to make informed decisions with high-quality securities reference data, corporate actions, end-of-day pricing and economic data services. 

The selected candidate will assist, undertake sales, manage valuations and medallion cases, and work as part of the team by supporting all aspects of the sales/valuations department. They will adhere to their KPI and customer service excellence as per company procedures and expectations.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers and partners
  • Building and maintaining a steady growth of new customers
  • Quoting prices to customers as and when required, cross-sell services to increase revenue
  • A strong and continuous focus on business development
  • Close working relationships with your team
  • Being the first point of contact for customer issues
  • Working towards team and individual incentives
  • Ensuring repeat customer business by providing an excellent customer journey
  • Negotiating with partners and agents to achieve the best price for both the company and the customer
  • Responsible for own administration
  • Attendance at monthly sales meetings
  • self motivation and drive.
  • Liaison with the General Manager on a continuous basis
  • Identifying and developing improvements to your customer area
  • Build and maintain a close working relationship with the staff across the company
  • Support the General Manager in the promotion of the business mission
  • To be accountable when working towards meeting KPIs and SLAs
  • Ensure that deadlines and objectives set by the General Manager are met
  • Forward planning for business needs
  • Social media savvy and willing to interact with clients and partners on such platforms

Required Experience: 

  • GSE level in Maths and English, A level
  • Experience - 1 year in finance or sales
  • Experience in using a variety of social media channels and platforms 
  • Experience in using email management tools 
  • Understanding of Stock/Shares

Required Skills: 

  • Windows apps proficient
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CRM aptitude
  • Works well under pressure
  • Good face-to-face, written communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to carry out tasks to agreed deadlines and with accuracy
  • Good IT and social media skills
  • Be able to track and report on numbers and data accurately
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and prospective clients
  • Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines and to organise own workload
  • Attention to detail and good proofreading skills
  • Basic understanding of our services
  • Ability to support Share Data values of the Association
  • Ability to understand the needs of people from diverse cultural, social and racial backgrounds.
