We are a successful courier company offering an online solution for SMEs. Our customers can access the biggest carriers for domestic and international shipments of any type, anywhere in the world.

This is a full time, office based sales role with the opportunity to spend some time in the field engaging with prospects and customers.

We are a small and friendly team who work hard to achieve our results and, as part of our continued growth, we are looking to bring on another member of the sales team.

The Person We Need

Ideally, the person we are after should be professional and enthusiastic and can demonstrate a phone charm which gets results. We are seeking an individual who is willing to work hard and is driven by results and the rewards it can bring. The individual will ideally have real, demonstrable B2B sales experience in a target driven environment however we would be open to developing the right candidate. We want someone who is keen to be part of the team and contribute to our exciting, growing business.

The Role

The role is primarily telesales but with an opportunity to do some field sales and follow up work. You will be responsible for generating your own leads and seeing the prospect from initial conversation through to closure.

You are expected to make 40+ calls per day, establishing relationships with decision makers, with the aim of winning new business

You will be closing at least 5-10 new sales per month

Skills & Experience

  • Ideally but not essential 3 years of B2B sales experience is required with demonstrable track record of achieving targets
  • A proven track record of successfully closing deals over the phone
  • A willingness and ability to learn about Courier Services, describe them to prospects and become a 'consultant’ they can trust
  • Whilst some training will be provided, we expect good general IT skills including existing knowledge of a CRM system, a competent level of use in Microsoft Office, social media and other IT applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an open, enthusiastic manner that fits the consultative style we use.
