Client Details

My client, who are based in Witney, are looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their expanding, high-performing Sales team.

They are a well-known manufacturing company who aim to give their customer's the best service possible. They pride themselves in their fun company culture, great career progression opportunities, and amazing earning potential!

Description

Key responsibilities of the Sales Executive include:

* Maximising all sales opportunities via email, telephone and proactive gap analysis
* Learn and understand the companies product range to promote new products, up-sell, and cross sell
* Effectively use questions and actively listen to understand the customers' requirements
* Work to achieve agreed sales and growth targets
* Qualify leads from our various customer communication channels (Email/Telephone/Online Chat) and work with the KAM and BDE to convert to sales
* Provide quotations to our distribution network within your set sales territories and ensure all are followed up
* Effectively use the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system - To record sales development activities, quotes, follow ups etc.
* Follow up all quotes sent by your relevant BDE / KAM
* Give remarkable service managing customer expectations by liaising with other departments / service providers to deliver on promises.
* Operate within set guidelines and procedures relating to all aspects of customer service, pricing, and lead times
* Maximise order book fulfilment by liaising with supply chain, manufacturing, and customer
service
* Develop effective working relationships with team members
* Delight customers, above and beyond the call of duty (go the "extra mile")
* Have empathy for a customer's problem and think "outside the box" to offer achievable solutions
* Engage with our customers to maximise sales return form our regular promotional mail outs
* Support in relevant customer meetings to the companies head office

Profile

The successful Sales Executive will be able to:

* Communicate concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
* Confident - Over the Telephone, Teams and In Person
* Competent presenter
* A creative and proactive problem solver
* Capable of working accurately under pressure, prioritising workload
* Be computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
* Highly self-motivated and reliable - willingness to "go the extra mile"
* Enthusiastic attitude, professional manner, and quick learner
* Good attention to detail and accurate keyboard skills
* Working to deadlines and targets
* Absorb training and instructions in order to work independently
* Previous sales experience is desirable
* Be a team player, willing to adapt to new challenges and changes and help colleagues when required
* Have a pleasant and friendly style - a real relationship builder
