Position Overview:

We are speculatively searching for an experienced and results-driven Sales Director.

You will lead our clients' contract logistics sales efforts and drive business growth. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building relationships with key clients, and expanding market share within the contract logistics sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the contract logistics market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective clients, including manufacturers, retailers, and distributors, to expand the client portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts to drive sales and revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making and sales planning.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients to secure new business partnerships and contracts.
  • Represent our clients at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to showcase their capabilities and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the contract logistics industry, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, exceed sales targets, and build strategic partnerships.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on delivering value to clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA preferred. Or equivalent by experience.
