Central Employment are delighted to be working with a leading Technology driven organisation to the UK transport sector, as they looking to recruit a Sales Development Executive.  

Sales Development Executive profile: 

This role will work closely with both our Sales and Marketing teams, driving our account-based marketing strategy. It will involve up-streaming with our Marketing team to nurture inbound leads and also prospecting with the Business Development Managers to generate new outbound leads, and working collaboratively with other internal teams to ensure our internal sales processes are successful. 

Sales Development Executive responsibilities: 

  • Driving account-based marketing strategy, being responsible for one of our core UK&I regions
  • Working closely with sales partners to develop outbound strategies and campaigns.
  • Monitoring and reporting on our target accounts
  • Arranging business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promoting the company’s products or services to prospective clients
  • Nurturing and managing internal leads (generated by marketing) through to handover to
  • the sales team for technical demonstrations and close quotation process
  • Generating new outbound leads and prospecting in a targeted way for the sales team
  • Monitoring and researching industry and market trends
  • Working with Marketing to develop Marketing campaign ideas


Essential experience: 

  • Comfortable working with a consultative sales methodology
  • Ability to balance inbound and outbound lead generation targets
  • 3 + years proven experience in a lead development or internal sales environment
  • Experience of CRM such as Salesforce would be beneficial
