SF Recruitment are looking for a Sales and Service Manager to join a fantastic client of ours based in Alfreton, on a full time, permanent basis. Depending on experience this role is paying between £30,000 - £35,000 offering fantastic benefits and ongoing career development and progression opportunities.

Our client pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to their valued clients. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented and experienced Service and Sales Manager to lead their service and sales team to new heights of success.

Position Overview:
The primary purpose of this role is to provide one point of contact for both Sales and Service for all customers. Working closely with the Tyre Technicians and Regional Business Managers to ensure the achievement of profit targets, product sales and service levels within your area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in implementing safety and environmental Policies, ensuring the guiding principles and responsibilities are communicated and fulfilled to all depot staff and customers.
  • Carry out safety talks as required and continuously champion safety within your area to both customers and team members.
  • Carry out sales calls and inspections as required to achieve budgets and business targets
  • Create new and sustainable business for both the UK business and the local service depot.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Operations Support Manager, Factory and Account Managers to ensure they are aware of the role they play in the development of the local area and to ensure the achievement of any targets and budgets in place.
  • Play a role in the management and development of any system put in place to improve service, information or other relevant data required by the business or the customer.
  • Depot Management
  • Provide one point of contact for our customers in the region for both Sales and Service
  • Responsible for Managing technicians daily workload in liaison with the Regional Sales Manager and Operations Support Manager
  • Work closely with the transport team to ensure trucks and equipment are safe and legal to operate
  • Ensure safe work performance
  • Ensure that customers' operational teams understand their responsibilities in providing safe areas to work
  • Ensure the local administration required is always accurate and up to date
  • Assist in the generation of annual budgets and budget forecast revisions.
  • Generate weekly/Monthly Sales reports or other reports as required by the business

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to develop and implement effective sales and service strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Work productively, efficiently, and contribute
