Sales and Digital Marketing Apprentice

Started in 2014, Sona IT is a managed service provider specialising in a full range of IT services for small to medium-sized businesses.

Overview:
We will consider an apprenticeship for this position.

Ideally you are a person with experience working in a small business offering B2B services dependant on new leads generated through marketing activities, conversion to sales opportunities and sealing the deal.

With support and collaborating with sales, you can work through a service offer to form strong messaging to use in marketing activities.

Salary:
£16,000 - £18,000 per annum.

Duties:

• Assist the sales and marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• Conduct market research and analyse data to identify potential market opportunities
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement marketing strategies
• Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) system to track leads and sales activities
• Support the creation of marketing materials, social media content specially for LinkedIn
• Provide general administrative support to the sales and marketing department

Desired skills:

• Previous experience in some marketing activities is essential, ideally B2B
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with CRM and lead gen software is highly benefical
• Ability to analyse data and provide insights for sales strategies
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Entry requirements:

• 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
• Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
