A highly successful insurance business is searching the market for talented and ambitious Sales Agents to join the team working in the Cardiff area. Priding themselves on offering a range of insurance solutions for their customers' varied needs, this business has experience fantastic success within the last decade and as such as putting big expansion plans into place which will be carried out over the next few years, aiming to bring on board talent and proactive sales and customer service professional to support the business in delivering its key objectives.

The position holder will be play a crucial role in this expansion plan, selling the company's service offerings directly to customers whilst maintaining exquisite levels of customer service and ensuring they are striving to understand customer needs at all times. The job holder will be expected to identify and utilise opportunities that arise to offer further solutions and additional options to their customers and overall work towards achieving personal and business targets.

Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Supporting customers with the services offered by the business
  • Proactively listening and taking the time to understand customer needs
  • Using understanding of these needs to suggest additional extras that would be of use or interest to them in order to promote the services of the business whenever the opportunity arises
  • Working towards pre-defined sales targets, both personal and as part of a wider sales teams
  • Ensuring that work aligns to business objectives
  • Escalating any issues that occur with customers via the right routes
  • Answering any on-the-spot questions that customers may have

What you will need to Apply:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have previous sales or customer service experience, preferably in a telephone centre environment and have a proactive approach to their sales work. Applicants must have excellent communication abilities and be able to handle potentially difficult situations effectively. Candidates will be goal-orientated with the aim of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

What you will get in Return:
The company are offering the successful applicant a starting salary of £22,500 depending on previous experience, which will increase with time and dedication from the job holder. Further to this there will also be a strong package, including a competitive holiday allowance with the option to purchase more days, solutions for life assurance and health plans, employee programs and a whole range of perks and discounts, both with the company and via third party means too.

There is a strong commission potential with this job, with some employees currently taking home up to an additional £15,000 on top of their base salary a year, therefore this could be a very rewarding opportunity for the right individual. As well as this, there will be the option for hybrid working once probation has been passed.

The company promises to hold regular meetings and appraisals with their employees in order to determine training and progression needs, with fantastic materials and resources being provided whenever it is required. Furthermore, there will be excellent opportunities for progression within this business, across multiple channels.
