Sales Advisor
Maidstone, Kent, ME14

  • Basic salary £18,500 - £25,000 (+ commissions, depending on experience)
  • Full-time (Monday-Friday, 9:00 - 17:30), permanent
  • Weekly commissions paid every Friday (£100-£350 average weekly)

What a time to be in telecoms! The UK has set a deadline to have everybody connected to Fibre Optic broadband by 2025 - but we have quite a way yet.

Prices are going up everywhere and yet this company is doing the complete opposite, providing even greater savings than before for their customers AND speeding up their connectivity - while maintaining that personable touch you don’t get when dealing with a major brand name.

Our client is a thriving, successful and ambitious communications business based in the heart of Maidstone.

Over the past 8 years they have saved businesses all over the UK over £8 million on their Broadband, Mobile Phones and Business Energy bills. Their customers can range from the local butcher all the way up to large Hotels and Golf courses.


So why are they recruiting?

Well, 8 years ago they were in a small office with around 4 people, today they are proud to have over 20 employees, working from beautiful offices in the heart of Maidstone.

They have a fantastic sales team who are delivering great savings and earning great commissions. They have room for a select few SalesAdvisors to join the family and be part of big things for 2023.


What will you actually be doing?

As a Sales Advisor you will be contacting small to medium businesses via phone, you will then be advising them on how you can save them money on their current telecoms bills or upgrading their existing infrastructure.

You will be generating leads daily and also scheduling call-backs while managing your own system and customer diary. They have various roles on the sales floor from lead generation, to closing warm leads that are passed over to you as well as closing your own business - every deal earns you £££!


What are they looking for?

Your personality is more important than your experience. The client is looking for someone who is naturally positive, motivated (and more importantly, self-motivating) as well as a good listener.

You should be hard working and ambitious, with a competitive streak (that is, personally competitive, always trying to be a better individual).

Sales experience is always ideal but not essential - the client has a proven track record for being the perfect place to start for those looking for a role in sales.

Industry experience is also not necessary - successful candidates will undergo a 3 day training programme.
