Manchester Staff is working with a sought-after, well-established business based in Macclesfield, Cheshire. You will be joining a small team spread across the warehouse, sales, logistics & customer service. The opportunity is one not regularly advertised as our client keep retention high and promote within.

The ideal candidate will be a team player that has customer facing experience and can pay attention to detail. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with high-end clients in a face to face and account management setting. The Sales/Account Manager will be responsible for processing orders, liaising with clients to understand their needs & approaching vendors for new business in their assigned markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Strive exceed sales targets.
  • Travelling to visit clients in your assigned market.
  • Accountable for reporting back on performance.
  • Proactively engage with customers to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain personalised client SLA’s.
  • Hold regular strategic reviews with clients via telephone and video conferencing.
  • Successfully deliver pricing and margin enhancement strategies.
  • Confidentially promote and cross-sell additional products & services.
  • Work with other teams across the business to identify future opportunities.

Skills & Experience

  • Have previous experience in a Business-to-Business Account Management role with a proven track record of winning and developing business.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be confident in pitching and negotiating.
  • You must be a target driven individual.
  • Have good time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be agile and adaptable to ever changing business needs.
