Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sage X3 Systems Accountant to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the Sage X3 ERP system, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sage X3 System Management:

• Administer and maintain the Sage X3 ERP system, ensuring data integrity, security, and system performance.
• Customize and configure Sage X3 to meet the evolving needs of the finance and accounting teams.
• Provide user training and support to ensure efficient utilization of the system.

1. Financial Reporting:

• Generate and analyze financial reports using Sage X3, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with the finance team to design and implement custom reports to meet specific business requirements.

1. Integration and Automation:

• Oversee the integration of Sage X3 with other systems and applications, streamlining data flow and improving overall efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process automation within the Sage X3 environment.

1. System Upgrades and Enhancements:

• Stay current with Sage X3 updates and releases, evaluating their impact on the organization.
• Plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements, working closely with IT and other relevant stakeholders.

1. Data Analysis and Troubleshooting:

• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Address and resolve system-related issues promptly, collaborating with technical support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Accountant, with a focus on Sage X3.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong technical skills in configuring and customizing Sage X3.
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis within Sage X3.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sage X3 certification is a plus.
• Experience with ERP system integrations.
• Knowledge of SQL and data extraction tools.
