A leading UK law firm headquartered in Scotland with a prominent presence across the nation and internationally is now seeking a solicitor with 2+ years' PQE to join its Land & Rural team in Edinburgh. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading team and develop a rewarding career in rural property law.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling transactions involving rural land purchases and sales
  • Providing advice on rural development projects
  • Offering ongoing legal support to estates and rural businesses
  • Advising on agricultural holdings and tenancy agreements
  • Managing various types of lettings such as commercial, residential, sporting, and amenity leases
  • Addressing title queries and resolving disputes
  • Facilitating transactions related to sporting interests
  • Leading registration projects for challenging titles in Scotland
  • Handling commercial contracts related to land use and business structures

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for rural property law, be self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and enjoy working within a team.
