A music merchandising business are looking for a Royalty Accountant and play a vital role in supporting artists' financial success!
  
Role Overview: As a Royalty Accountant, you'll dive into preparing and reporting on artists' finances, from end-of-tour profit & loss statements to monthly/quarterly e-commerce, retail, and licensing reports. Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reconciliation and distribution of reporting packages.

Who They Are Looking For:
  • Detail-oriented with strong Excel skills.
  • Experienced in bookkeeping, journal entries, and P&L analysis.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure.
  • Effective communicator and relationship builder.
  • Desirable: Part-qualified accountant, royalty preparation experience, familiarity with Xero and Excel.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Producing end-of-tour profit & loss statements.
  • Reconciling revenue streams and costs accurately.
  • Calculating royalties and profit shares.
  • Distributing quarterly reporting packages.
  • Maintaining precise royalty databases and schedules.
