Roofing Operative / Roofer

£13-£17 per hour

Location; Manchester, Lancashire & Merseyside – Full UK Driving Licence

Remuneration Package; 31 days holiday (includes 8 days bank holidays) uniform, mobile & vehicle issued

Our client is a leading Social Housing contractor, having been established over 32 years. They have long-term opportunities for experienced Roofing Operatives to work across several social housing-based construction sites. You will be working on residential properties (tenanted and voids) to carry out planned and reactive repair works across the Northwest (covering Manchester, Lancashire & Merseyside).

Works will include:

  • Slate Roofing
  • Tiled Roofing (various types)
  • Built-up Felt Roofing
  • Roofline

They provide training for staff on areas such as Asbestos, working at heights, manual handling and first aid.

About You

They are looking for experienced Roofing Operatives who will need:

  • Full UK Driving Licence is Essential
  • Confident working at heights
  • Manual handling experience
  • Be honest, reliable, punctual with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work proactively with minimal supervision
  • Take complete care of company assets/vehicles
  • Must have own tools

Hours of Work; 40 hours per week - Fixed Hours Contract (core hours: 8am-4.30pm - 30mins lunch) - Mon-Fri
