Robot Integration Engineer

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Robot Integrator to join our team in Coalville. This full-time Robot Integration role comes with a very competitive Salary and excellent benefits.

As a Robot Integrator, you will be part of a team pushing the capabilities of robotic systems with research and improvement opportunities. You will also improve the system using critical thinking. The post will be based in Coalville, UK; however, worldwide travel will be a feature of the post when required.

In your first few weeks in this Robot Integrator role, you can expect to:

• Problem-solve a variety of hardware and software problems ranging from PC to mechanical alignment and wiring
• Document projects
• Work with the Research and Development team to improve the robotic system.

To apply for this Robot Integrator role, you will need experience in design and implementation of automated systems. You will also require the following:

• Experience in PLC programming and diagnostics
• A basic understanding of robot principles
• Experience implementing communication protocols, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, MODBUS, etc
• Willingness for cross-department collaboration
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
