Risk Manager

Location – Plymouth

My client are a major contractor working on a large project in the Plymouth area on Devonport Dockyard. They are currently recruiting for a Risk Manager to join their team.

They are working on an infrastructure upgrade programme to support the MODs future requirements in relation to both its warship and submarine programme.

Please note you must be eligible for Security Clearance to be considered for this role. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement the Risk and Opportunity Management processes in accordance with the company management systems.
  • Prepare robust tender and contract risk models using the designated risk management tool.
  • Day to day responsibility for the development and accuracy of the risk plan and the cost model.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years risk experience in a project-based engineering environment using Primavera risk software.
  • Project risk management and change management for small/ medium/large sized projects.
  • Worked with Project Managers to deliver successfully packages of work on major multi-disciplined projects.
  • Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive.
  • Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way.
  • Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs.
