About the Role

As a Risk FrameworkSpecialist within a leading financial services institution here in London,you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing and streamlining risk managementpractices. This 6 month Fixed Term Contract position focuses on reviewing andimproving elements of the Risk Management Framework. Here are the keyresponsibilities:

  • Unified Policy Framework: You'll review the existing Risk Policy suite and other non-risk policies across the business to create a cohesive Policy Framework.
  • Simplified Policies: Develop simplified policy templates and underlying standard/procedures templates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with policy and standard owners and specialists to review and enhance the content within the unified policy framework.
  • Policy Presentation: Prepare and present updated policies to Management and Board Committees for approval.
  • Annual Policy Attestation: Establish a new annual policy attestation process.
  • Training Modules: Review and enhance existing mandatory computer-based training modules related to specific policies and develop content for new modules where needed.


About You

  • Influence and Persistence: Influence stakeholders and drive adoption of the new policy framework.
  • Experience: Significant experience within large-scale, multinational financial services firms and regulatory contexts.
  • Risk Management Knowledge: Familiarity with risk management framework best practices, methodologies, and emerging trends.
