We have an exciting opportunity for an RI Technician within this London/Global Broker

Your Role:

  • Review claims data to facilitate the preparation of RI Recoveries, in particular of Excess of Loss covers.
  • Respond to Broker and Reinsurer queries relating to claims recoveries.
  • Liaising with Claims Departments to obtain loss reports for RI recoveries.
  • Calculate potential RI implications for extended claims.
  • Enter RI policies on internal systems ensuring premiums are paid in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, Re-insurers, Brokers, Underwriters and Claims Teams.
  • Support the work of the credit control team to ensure timely receipt of recoveries.
  • Perform peer review for tasks completed by the Offshore RI Teams.
  • Capturing cover note information on internal systems to ensure that all correct details are detailed.
  • Ensure that high standards of service are maintained and improved where possible.
  • Determines own work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to ensure the achievement of personal and team objectives.

About You:

  • A high level of numeracy and literacy with proven organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritise work to KPIs.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse data.
