RF Test Engineer - Semiconductor Equipment - Bristol - IM3357

Salary: c£35-45k, plus benefits

Job Term: Permanent, Full Time, Onsite

Job Outline:

A market leader in the design and manufacture of semiconductor equipment is now looking for an RF Test Engineer to join their fantastic facility in Bristol.

With strong expertise in fault-finding and best practice design of High-Frequency RF Matching and signal up to 8KW, you will be a key player in the engineering team.

You will provide practical, hands-on experience while examining new modules. Your exceptional skills will be put to use as you lead the definition of test procedures for both integrated machinery and upstream testing for module outsourcing.

As an expert you will find solutions when tools are not working as expected.

You will be responsible for all aspects of RF Test including first line diagnosis, training Test Engineers, supporting the test document author and producing simple control systems.

Additional responsibilities include commissioning of ATE (automatic test equipment), analysing failure reports, contributing to the manufacturing plan and outsourcing strategy.

You will also provide consultative RF design advice for engineering design and project teams.

Experience:

As RF Test Engineer, you should have experience in High Frequency RF matching, signal processing and Test; couple with strong experience in electronics.

Qualifications:

An HNC in Electronics, or higher qualification is preferred.
