Role: -RF Test Engineer (12 month rolling contract)
Location: -Slough
Salary: - Competitive hourly rate

Russell-Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity to join our clients Global Testing and Certification Company working at one of their prestigious, Consumer Technology customer sites. If you have strong experience in RF Testing and strong customer-facing experience working with clients, customers and third party then please apply within.

Responsibilities
• Evaluates, records, and explains test reports for customer samples.
• Follows complex test plans- builds and/or adapts test setups.
• Draws out and communicates on the progression of the projects and on the completed test reports.
• Holds responsibility for test plans which will include reporting completion and accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Examine complex customer samples.
• Explain test standards
• Train other laboratory staff on the equipment
• Maintain and operate the complex test and support equipment
• Perform calibration of test equipment
• Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques.
• Provide suggestions for new equipment, processes, and forms to improve accuracy.
• Work to tight schedules & deadlines- manage multiple projects at one time.
• Communicates with customers during the setup and process to ensure correct evaluation of projects

Role
• A degree/HNC/HND level in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Science.
• Previous experience of working to ISO 9000 or ISO 17025
• Experience of ETSI, FCC and ISED requirements.
• Ability to work to deadlines and accept change.
• Willingness to change
• Strong Customer facing skills
• Professional and Responsible individual
• Experience in RF Technologies
• Ideally have experience in testing a large variety of wireless technologies
• An understanding or knowledge of working in a consumer compliance testing environment.
