Reward Lead - 12 month FTC

Hybrid Working - 2 days office

HQ - Basingstoke, Hampshire

£65 - £70k plus benefits

As a result of a recent merger, our client, a leader in their industry, is seeking to appoint a Reward Lead on a 12 month FTC role.

The role will work alongside the current permanent Reward Lead on BAU and integration activities related to pay, grading, benefits etc. It will partner colleagues and stakeholders across the business, to help design, develop and deliver a Total Reward approach that supports the delivery of the Corporate Plan and People Strategy.

Reporting into the Head of Reward, and working alongside the current Reward Lead, you’ll partner with business areas and the People team, to support the design, development and delivery of a total rewards approach, including job architecture, pay, bonus, benefits, pension administration and recognition. You’ll also be supporting on the integration plans to bring the newly merged organisation into one business from 1 April 2025.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining compensation infrastructure, including delivery of the annual pay cycle, updating pay structures, overseeing pay progression, allowances, and bonus schemes.

• Undertaking job evaluations and mapping roles into the grading and job family frameworks.

• Reviewing, developing and delivering a programme of benefits that provides choice to a diverse workforce, supports people to be well at work and helps attract and retain talent.

• Researching, developing and proposing reward solutions working with the business and the Head of Reward to develop recommendations to present to senior leadership for approval.

• Preparing, analysing and modelling complex data to support effective decision making and recommendations.

• Working with the Reward team on Integration projects as required.

Key background:

• Experienced in a similar level role

• Strong analytical and modelling skills, attention to detail and experience of working with complex data

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to quickly build and manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

• Experience of analytical job evaluation systems and methodologies. Working knowledge of Willis Towers Watson, Global Grading and Compensation software is an advantage but not essential.

• Strong project management / planning skills with the ability to prioritise workload

• Ability to work under pressure to manage internal and external influence
