Retentions is an integral part of our business as they are responsible for speaking with clients to who are looking to cancel their Private Medical Insurance policy. Their role is to find out why the client is looking to cancel and finding solutions on how we can keep them on cover.

The Retentions Manager will be there to lead, motivate and develop a team of Retention Adviser’s ensuring that all department KPI’s are achieved. Coaching and training the team on objection handling and product knowledge, analysing the cancellation data, and reporting on trends.

What we can offer you:

  • A competitive basic salary of £32,500 + commission package (to be discussed at interview)
  • Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm (flexibility may be required)
  • Office based role – GL7 5XZ.
  • 28 days holiday. We do open on Bank Holiday’s as a business, however, if you do work a Bank Holiday you can take the leave at another time to suit you. We also offer an incremental holiday scheme!

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience working within a FCA regulated role preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in leadership, coaching, developing and motivating teams.
  • Experience in employee engagement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - identifying the root of an issue rather than addressing the symptoms.
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills and the ability and resourcefulness to prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines.
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook at a highly proficient level.
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and self-motivation.
  • The ability to work responsibly and proactively on a range of projects and tasks.
  • A focus on results, along with a flexible, resourceful, “can do” attitude.
  • The ability to remain composed when working under pressure.
  • The ability to seek out continuous improvement and engage in these projects/initiatives.
