Summary

With your love of working with people and desire to provide a great service, you’ll welcome and talk to our visitors to our brand new shop answering any questions they have. The hourly rate is currently £10.50 per hour, but this is due to increase in April.

Salary: £11.50 ph. from the 1st April.

Contract/duration: Fixed Term ending March 2025

Hours/working pattern/hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible.

What it's like to work here

Arlington Court is a beautiful estate on the outskirts of Barnstaple, North Devon. The estate comprises of an intriguing Regency house, picturesque gardens and the National Trust Carriage Museum which houses an impressive collection of horse drawn vehicles.

We are opening a brand new shop at Arlington Court and we are looking for new additions to our team.

What you'll be doing

As a Retail Team Member you’ll offer customers help and shopping advice with their purchases. Other duties may include receiving, unpacking, and arranging deliveries, creating shop displays and working with other members of the team to keep the shop floor area clean and organised. This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service and an interest in learning about retail.
